Congratulations to the Kerry Seniors Football Team on winning their 21st National League title last Saturday.
It was a rather surreal occasion but nevertheless an important milestone for Peter Keane’s young squad.
County Board Officer and Central Council Delegate Patrick O’Sullivan presented David Clifford with the Cup. There was a simple cheer and no further celebration as their minds quickly turned to the Munster Championship!
Special mention must go to Ger O’Mahony and his crew for having the field in spectacular condition for the football game on Saturday and for the hurling game on Sunday.
Also our thanks to the Covid Committee and the Austin Stack Park Committee for their excellent organisation of both games.
The next outing for the Senior Football Team is their knockout fixture against Cork in Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Sunday, November 8th at 4pm.
Best of luck to the team and management in this year’s Championship.
