Gerdie Murphy & Derry Sheehan RIP
All involved in Kerry GAA were truly shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Gerard “Gerdie” Murphy and Derry Sheehan, both of Castleisland Desmonds, late last week.
Gerdie and Derry were two great GAA stalwarts, both with a love of the Green and Gold.
Gerdie was known far and wide for his passion for sport and his helpful, friendly manner behind the counter in Vincent Murphy Sports while Derry served as Chairman of Kerry Coiste na nÓg for many years.
We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to both families.
