Scór 2024

On Friday evening last, Coiste Scór Chiarraí organised a very successful Scór na nÓg competition. As the GAA at national level have realigned the Scór calendar following the Covid 19 disruption Scór na nÓg in all counties won’t take place until the autumn of 2024.

Coiste Chiarraí decided to run a county competition to ensure that our young participants would get an opportunity to perform on stage and what a brilliant decision this proved to be as we witnessed All-Ireland champions and potential All-Ireland champions perform in front of a packed house in Milltown Community Centre on Friday evening.

The talent on display in all Scór categories was unbelievably high and this certainly augurs well for the future of Scór in the county and to the hours of practice completed by the participants and mentors in the various clubs.

Gleann Feisce, All-Ireland champions in the Bailéad Ghrupa, defended their county title with another top class performance as they and all participants performed to an attentive and respectful audience who simply sat back and enjoyed all the performances and when the judges submitted their score sheets the following claimed the titles for their respective clubs.
