Coiste Scór Chiarraí 2022
Coiste Scór Chiarraí are delighted to announce that the time has come to resume Scór once again for the 2022/23 season.
Commencing with the County Scór Sinsear and kindly sponsored by Estuary Print and Trophies, Ballylongford.
Activity will begin with the County Finals on Friday October 7th in the Community Centre Currow getting underway with the Quiz and followed at 7:30pm by all the other dicplines.
It promises to be once again a most entertaining evening with the very best of music, song, dance and act and no doubt will be sure to have a huge attendance present.
This news will no doubt be welcomed by all talented GAA members from all over the county and we wish all those who will be taking part also in the coming weeks and months with Scór Na nÓg along with Scór na bPáistí all the very best of luck; and that the young singers, dancers, storytellers and musicians from clubs can look forward to the remaining Scór competitions.
All the winners in each discipline on the night will then go forward to the Munster Finals on Sunday October 16th at Cappamore, County Limerick. Munster Final Quiz commencing at 4pm and main stage events with a starting time of 6pm.
Mayo will become the epicentre of Irish Culture Saturday November 12th, as the “Travellers Friend, Theatre Royal” Castlebar, County Mayo plays host to the prestigious G.A.A. All Ireland Scór Sinsear Finals.
The Discplines will take place in the following order; Quiz, Figure Dancing, Solo Singing, Recitation, Ballad Group, Novelty Act, Instrumental Music, Set Dancing at all competitions.
