Scór 2022 – 2023
Autumn has arrived, evenings are closing in, it’s Scór season where we embrace Cultural Activities for club members, commencing with senior Scór competitions – a GAA activity.
Scór seeks to actively promote and support traditional Irish dance, music, song and other aspects of our Irish culture through a range of competitions designed to encourage participation, enjoyment, inclusion and excellence of our GAA club members.
All clubs in Ciarraí have singers, musicians, storytellers, quiz buffs and dancers in their membership, thus it’s incumbent on all that those talented members are afforded the opportunity to showcase their talents and represent their clubs with pride and colour in the GAA cultural competitions that is Scór.
Reminding all clubs and Scór Officers that Kerry County Finals of Scór Sinsear is scheduled for FRIDAY evening 7th OCTOBER at Currow Community Hall.
Tráth na gCeist will commence at 7.00 pm followed by the main competitions at 7.30 pm.
*Note for this season only – all club entries in senior Scór go straight to County Finals.
Scór events are as follows;
1. Amhránaíocht Aonor (Solo Singing),
2. Aitriseoireacht (Recitation) both events are for individual participants,

Members get involved and represent your Club – it’s where we belong in the GAA.
Clubs and Scór Officers are invited to facilitate participation of their members in Scór and represent club on stage this Autumn.
Club Scór Officers are requested to submit entries – (name and competition) to Runaí Coiste Scór Chiarraí by Monday 3rd October at secretary.scor.kerry@gaa.ie to facilitate the compilation of a program for the Scór finals.
