Busy weekend for our Huling Development Squads
Congratulations to the Kerry U14 Hurling Development Squad who travelled to Abbottstown in Dublin today to take part in the Tony Forristal Dublin Competition.
In the Quarter-Final they had a 3-point win over Antrim.
They then beat Meath in the Semi-Final before securing victory over Westmeath in the Final.
This is a fantastic achievement.
Well done to management and players and a thank you to the clubs and parents for their support throughout the year.
Well done to the Kerry U15 Hurling Development Squad that travelled to Clogheen, Co Tipperary to take part in the John Doyle A Shield Competition.
3 teams played on the day at the venue. First up for our lads was a drawn game against Tipperary. The strong Antrim side went on to win out the tournament having beaten our lads in their second game.
Huge effort and dedication have been shown by all this year.
It has been another year of great development for these lads.
Many thanks to the management for all their efforts, and the clubs and parents for their support.
Congratulations to our U16 Hurlers who picked up silverware in Kilflynn this afternoon having a good win over Kildare.
This was a great way to finish the year for this group as all players had already played either Minor or Celtic Challenge in the Green and Gold this year.
Well done to management and thank you to clubs and parents for their support all year.
