Kerry GAA was delighted to hear that Charlie Keating was selected as Eirgrid U20 Munster Player of the Province. Following a campaign where Charlie lit up the pitch with his powerful fielding of the ball, emphatic runs up the pitch and an amazing work ethic, this award is highly deserved.
It is certainly a proud day for Charlie and his family and of course his club Dr. Crokes and we wish to extend our warmest congratulations.
Finally, after a fantastic campaign this year under Tomás Ó Sé and his backroom team, we want to congratulate every player on the Kerry U20 Football team on their superb journey this year. Although yesterday saw a tough loss, it was a great achievement to reach an All Ireland Final after many tough games. Every single player donned the green and gold with pride, passion and determination and are huge role models for young Gaelic games players in your clubs, parishes and schools. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for you all.
