Kerry GAA was delighted to hear that player William Shine was selected as Eirgrid U20 Munster Player of the Province. It is certainly a proud day for William and his family and of course his club Killarney Legion. William and his teammates have produced emphatic team performances over the last few weeks and it’s fantastic to be looking forward to another outing for our U20 team against a strong Sligo side on Saturday. We wish the whole squad and backroom team the very best.
A few words from William Shine: I’m delighted to have been selected for this award. Personally it is a nice award to win, however it’s been a team effort all year. More importantly as a group we are focused and ready for what will be a very tough affair against Sligo and hopefully we can do everyone in Kerry proud.
