Kerry GAA County Convention was held on Monday night last at the Munster Technological University Kerry Campus in Tralee.
Delegates who could not attend in person were facilitated online thanks to Emma Sweeney (Assistant Secretary) and Leona Twiss (PRO).

To start, Chairman Tim Murphy took us through Peter Twiss’ Secretary’s Report before we moved on and Treasurer Tom Keane brought us through the Treasurer’s Report. This was followed by the Auditor’s Report. Next up, we moved on to the Consideration of the various Sub-Committee Reports.
At this point, Mark Griffin, Administrator of the Referee’s Committee, addressed those present (virtually as well as in-person) re. the need for more referees and made a passionate plea with delegates to promote refereeing within their clubs.
As the voting wasn’t concluded, our Chairman then made his final address to Convention as Tim Murphy’s 5 year term concluded on Monday night. Tim gave tremendous service to Kerry GAA. He deserves great praise for his dedication to the role. We wish Tim every success in the Munster Vice-Chair election. Thank you Tim!
Next up was the election of officers for 2022.
