The Battle for the Bishop Moynihan Begins on Friday!
The opening game of the 2020 Garvey’s Senior Football Championship will be played this Friday and by Sunday 16 teams will have been reduced to 8.
Such is the nature of a straight knockout Championship. Extra time and ‘winner on the day’ regulations will apply as required.
The Fixtures for Round 1 are –
Friday at 7.30pm Dr. Crokes v Austin Stacks in Austin Stack Park (TG4)
Saturday at 3pm St Brendans v West Kerry in Austin Stack Park (Live Stream)
Saturday at 5pm Mid Kerry v Kilcummin in Fitzgerald Stadium (Live Stream)
Saturday at 6pm Dingle v Templenoe in Dingle (Live Stream) and Feale Rangers v East Kerry in Listowel
Sunday at 2pm Kenmare Shamrocks v Shannon Rangers in Kenmare
Sunday at 3.45pm Killarney Legion v Kerins O Rahillys in Fitzgerald Stadium (RTE)
Sunday at 6pm St. Kierans v South Kerry Austin Stack Park (Live Stream)
Kerry GAA will be live-streaming three of the games which can be purchased on the Kerry GAA website for €5 per game. RTE are showing Killarney Legion V Kerins O’Rahillys live on Sunday and TG4 are showing Dr Crokes V Austin Stacks live on Friday. Radio Kerry will have updates from all games. Kerry GAA are providing as many platforms as possible for people to see and/or hear the game. We know that people are disappointed not to be able to attend the games but for the moment, we must abide by the rules.
