Eight advance to the Garvey’s Senior Football Championship Quarter Finals
Last weekend we were treated to a feast of football. Unfortunately, supporters we were unable to be there but Kerry GAA was determined to assist supporters keep updated with all the games. All media platforms played a role from television to radio, from print media to live streaming. Our thanks to all involved in bringing this ambitious plan to fruition.
The draw for the Quarter Final of the Garvey’s SuperValu Football Championship was made after the final game on Sunday. It was made by Seamus O’Connor of Garvey’s Castleisland and Tim Murphy Chairman of Kerry County Board. The Draw was overseen by Eamon Whelan from CCC and was made live on the Kerry GAA Live-stream.
CCC met immediately after the Draw and issued the following fixtures –
Sat Aug 29 at 5pm – Extra Time & Winner on the day (live stream)
Killarney Legion v St. Brendans in Austin Stack Park
Sat Aug 29 at 7.15pm – Extra Time & Winner on the day (live stream)
East Kerry v St. Kierans in Austin Stack Park
Sun Aug 30 at 2pm – Extra Time & Winner on the day (live stream)
Dr. Crokes v Templenoe in Fitzgerald Stadium
Sun Aug 30 at 4pm – Extra Time & Winner on the day (live stream)
Mid Kerry v Kenmare Shamrocks in Fitzgerald Stadium
All 4 games can be live-streamed from the Kerry GAA website. You can buy both of Saturday’s games together for €10 or both of Sunday’s games together for €10. We have simplified the payment process on the website and a buyer simply enters their card details to purchase the games. This weekend’s games will feature action replays, interviews with the managers and multi-camera angles. The games can be purchased worldwide and watched for 30 days after.
