Kerry Coiste na nOg Notes
Feile U14 Hurling

Abbeydorney and Ballyduff were the magnificent hosts for the group games of the Kerry Hurling Feile.

In Abbeydorney, the home side, Ballyduff, and St. Brendans played off and Ballyduff emerged unbeaten as group winners, with Abbeydorney’s win over St. Brendans giving them second spot and a place in the semi-final, where they will meet Ballyheigue.

In Ballyduff, Crotta O’Neills beat Kilmoyley convincingly in their opener and recorded a very hard-fought win over an excellent Tralee Parnells, 2-1 to 1-2, to win the group. Lixnaw and Tralee Parnells was another fantastic hurling contest, both sides displaying superb skill, before Lixnaw edged through 2-4 to 2-1 to come second.

A huge thank you to our referees John Ross and Mike Joy, our co-ordinators Tadhg O’Halloran, John Ross, and Johnny Conway, the hosts clubs and all the participants, and all the coaches, parents, supporters, and especially the dedicated young players who helped to make these games into great occasions.

The A Semi-finals take place this Saturday at 2.30pm, with Ballyduff meeting Kenmare/KIlgarvan in Killarney Legion and Abbeydorney meeting Ballyheigue in Kilmoyley at 5.00pm.
The B Final between Lixnaw and Crotta O’Neills will be played on Monday evening, time and venue to be decided (it will be posted on Kerry Coiste na nOg facebook page when decided).
