AUSTIN STACKS 1-09 DINGLE 0-15
Austin Stacks 1-09 Dingle 0-15.
A Seán Ryan goal in the fifth minute gave Stacks a the ideal start, but they failed to capitalize on this and solid play by Dingle left the sides on level terms at half time (1-05 to 0-08).
In the second half, Dingle’s Micheál Slattery and Darragh O’Sullivan had the edge at centre field and Cathal Bambury and Conor Geaney took full advantage, putting over some great points – Conor scoring eight from play in total, before going off with an injury late in the second half and Cathal adding four overall.
The result leaves Dingle joint second on the League table while Stacks are still struggling, second from bottom.
